Hello guys, I’ve got a web app to share! It’s for writing guitar tab in plain text. The main use is to allows you to type a note without shifting the other notes.

Without notes shifting left and right when you’re typing, you can maintain an evenly tab string length. In a way, it’s like writing a tab in a music score editor. While it’s less powerful, some might still prefer a lighter app to write a simple tab in plain text.
Shift Up and Down
If you accidentally write a notes on the wrong strings, you can move them up and down by selecting the notes, then click Shift tab up/down. The tab will only shift within the selected strings.

Tab Copying
When you copy a tab from the editor, pasting it into a tab line will automatically shift the notes on the insertion point.

Switching to Classic Editor
The app detects if you’re writing a tab or regular text to do their thing, but if something isn’t working, you can always switch to the classic editor by switching the Editor mode options at the bottom left corner.
